President Sheikh Mohamed met Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Abu Dhabi on Friday to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation across various sectors, including economy, development, investment, and renewable energy.
Both leaders also exchanged views on the recent Israeli attack on Qatar, condemning the incident and expressing solidarity with Doha. They emphasized that such actions threaten regional stability, security, and peace prospects.
The visit underscores the growing partnership between the UAE and Indonesia, highlighted by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in 2023, which aims to increase non-oil trade to $10 billion by 2027.
The meeting was attended by senior Emirati officials, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed.
